The Working Groups are made up of 3-5 committed riders. Each group meets once monthly to present the exercises given to them in the previous meeting. New exercises are introduced monthly. This is a progressive program which allows the rider to feel the benefit of each gymnastic exercise and how it builds to the next, all to educate and balance the horse. Out-of-state working groups meet every other month.
Most of my students in the Working Groups join together to watch and learn from each other. These groups are small and intimate, meaning everyone really supports each other. They are alot of fun because over time we all see alot of change in ourselves and our horses. These groups are really supportive, because one month is just enough time to go home and work with the new exercises. Having to present the exercises in front of their peers and myself really helps people want to do well. It also is a great way to learn, watching other people working on all the same exercises.
